Following the metaphor statement crafted by Tracey Lyons, I designed the Pitt family as if they belonged within their own booth at the carnival. This design presented challenges of quick changes and prostethic application with an attention to detail around the torso to head area of the actor. This performace was recorded over Cisco Webex due to COVID-19 restrictions.

The costumes for this dance piece were heavily inspired by the illustrations of Rube Goldberg as the dancers moved as though they were part of one of his machines. There was an emphasis on graphic art in combination with androgynous clothing style. Trims and accessories were misplaced in a way that was just slightly unnatural but emphasized the movement of the body.

The choreography of this piece reflected the feelings and responses of words being left unsaid. For some, a softer silhouette represented a forgiveness and a longing to hear the words. Others featured sharper lines and eye-catching colors suggesting a more aggressive or frustrated reaction. This design only saw one dress rehearsal due to COVID-19 restrictions.
